Food Service Manager – BM Caterers Location: London W1F Salary: Competitive Contract: Full time, Permanent Take the next step in your hospitality leadership career We’re looking for an experienced Food Service Manger to support the day-to-day running of one of our catering operations and help deliver outstanding food, service and team performance. This is a great opportunity for someone who combines strong people skills with commercial awareness and a real passion for hospitality. What you’ll be doing - Manage and monitor all areas of service and standards - Plan for service improvements in all areas. - Attend bm craft development opportunities: BIG Forums, etc. - Ensure bm concepts and Innovations are implemented and marketed effectively within the business - Ensure all team HOD’s are aware of required standards and current achievement status - Communicate regularly with all team members to ensure clear goals are set, feedback sought and ideas shared - Ensure development of individuals & team is achieved through appraisals, day to day supervision and performance management - Ensure budgetary targets are achieved, ensuring any controls are in place and monitored. - Liaise with the client and customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction - Ensure efficient and hygienic working practices are consistent in all areas What we’re looking for - A proactive team leader and develop a customer focused team with all actions orientated towards customer satisfaction. - Calm, confident, decisive, organised. - Team & Customer engagement are key in this role so we are looking for a real people person. - Displays a high level of attention to detail, consistently in line with bm standards of personal presentation. - Able to remain professional in all situations. - Able to initiate, implement and drive forward new ideas. - Strong, effective oral and written communication skills; articulate and able to communicate credibly across all levels. - Able to motivate others to deliver to the highest level of their ability. - Experienced negotiator with strong commercial skills. - Capable of strategic thinking and planning, delivery and direction. Excellent customer care skills; able to build successful, long term business relationships with both internal stakeholders and with clients.
