What You’ll Do: - Lead by Example: Assist the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring all staff maintain company policies and procedures. - Customer Service Excellence: Encourage exceptional customer interactions, ensuring prompt and courteous service from all team members. - Team Collaboration: Support staff and work with fellow managers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and standards are upheld. - Operational Oversight: Manage cash handling, inventory, and product rotation to maintain fresh, well-stocked merchandise. Ensure all pricing is accurate and up to date. - Safety and Cleanliness: Promote a safe and clean store environment by following and enforcing safety protocols and housekeeping standards. - Mentor and Train: Help train and guide employees, promoting a positive work environment and teamwork. What We’re Looking For: - 3+ years of experience in the supermarket industry or equivalent leadership experience, with a strong understanding of store operations. - A high school education is required, with a college background or management training program experience preferred. - Excellent communication and math skills to handle sales transactions, financial projections, and inventory management. - Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on supporting both employees and customers. - The ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 50lbs, and working in various weather conditions. - Willingness to obtain a Responsible Vendor Server Permit within 45 days of hire.
