Who we are

Jobrona is the controller of the data of job seekers and employers who use it. Contact: privacy@jobrona.com.

What we collect and why

The CV and documents you upload, the facts we read from them and the answers you give, to apply to jobs for you. This is the service you ask for (contract).

Your visibility to employers on Jobrona and marketing emails only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Emails that employers send to your application address, to read codes, confirmations and replies.

Notice at collection

Categories: identifiers (name, email, phone), professional and education information, location, work authorization, and the answers you give to application forms.

Citizenship and immigration status count as sensitive personal information. We use them only to answer application forms for you.

Who receives your data

The employers you apply to receive your application. Our subprocessors host, send email, take payments and run language models; the list is public. Language models receive only the facts needed for a text, never your name or contacts.

If you sign in with Google, X or LinkedIn, that provider confirms your identity and gives us your name and email address; it also sees that you signed in to Jobrona. Sign-in through our Telegram bot works the same way with Telegram.

Your rights

You can see, correct, export and delete your data. Export gives a JSON file and PDFs. Deleting the account stops all applications at once, removes you from employer search within an hour and deletes your data within 30 days, including any backup copies.

Applications already sent to employers are held by them. We show you the list of companies and a template request to delete your data there.

Residents of California and other US states have the right to know, delete and correct, and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information.

Messages

We send notifications by Telegram and email. We send SMS only with your prior written consent, and you can stop them by replying STOP. Marketing emails carry our postal address and a one-click unsubscribe, honored within 10 business days.

Storage

Data is stored on our own server, a virtual server rented from Contabo whose network address is in the United States, and is encrypted in transit. Data may be processed outside your country. Raw pages are kept for 30 days, emails and confirmation screenshots for 12 months or while the account is active.
