We are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Fabricator to join our manufacturing team producing custom Expand-O-Flash transitions, expansion joint systems, and specialty flashing products for commercial construction projects across North America. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning a skilled trade, and being part of a team that creates high-quality custom products. No previous fabrication experience is required. We will provide training for the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. What You'll Do - Fabricate custom metal and expansion joint components according to drawings and specifications - Measure, cut, form, and assemble materials using hand tools and manufacturing equipment - Operate fabrication machinery safely and efficiently - Read and follow work orders, prints, and production schedules - Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met - Package and prepare finished products for shipment - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines - Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals What We're Looking For - High school diploma or GED preferred - Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail - Ability to read a tape measure accurately - Ability to perform basic math calculations - Dependable attendance and strong work ethic - Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Manufacturing, construction, welding, sheet metal, or fabrication experience is a plus but not required Physical Requirements - Ability to stand for extended periods - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly - Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials - Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment Why Join Us? - Competitive pay based on experience - On-the-job training and skill development - Opportunities for advancement - Stable, growing manufacturing environment - Comprehensive benefits package - Paid holidays and paid time off - Team-oriented culture focused on quality and safety Please Keep in Mind If you do not meet 100% of these requirements, we at JM still want to hear from you.
