QUALIFIED ASPHALT AGGREGATE TESTER

D&J Construction Company, a leading highway contractor in Louisiana, is seeking a detail-oriented Asphalt Aggregate Tester to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that asphalt paving operations meet required specifications and quality standards. Position Overview: The Asphalt Tester is responsible for sampling and testing aggregates used in Hot Mix Asphalt production. Key Responsibilities: - Communicate effectively. - Monitor and test asphalt aggregates. - Ensure all testing and documentation comply with industry regulations and project requirements. Additional Information & Requirements: - Work hours vary based on seasonal workload, with primarily daytime 10-12 hour shifts. - Monday through Friday schedule with some Saturday work required. - Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation. - Must have a valid email address for communication. - Pre-employment drug screening required.
