Area Maintenance & Inventory: - Stocking: Keeps a well-stocked bar of all necessary ingredients, garnishes, and supplies; changes kegs as needed. - Cleanliness: Maintains sanitary conditions by cleaning the bar top, tables, chairs, work areas, and bathrooms. - Prep Work: Slices and prepares fresh fruits and garnishes daily. - Facilities: Assists with light maintenance such as hauling trash, mopping, or shoveling as required. Operational Readiness: - Menu Development: Works with management to recommend and implement new drink menu items. - Compliance: Adheres to all local, state, and federal food and beverage laws and regulations. - Communication: Employees must be accessible via cell phone and/or email for scheduling and human resources applications. Skills and Qualifications: Hospitality Mindset - Character: Engaging, honest, and dependable; able to resolve conflict with a professional attitude. - Technical Skill: Extensive knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and bar standards. - Organization: Self-motivated, organized, and efficient with an excellent memory for orders and regulars. Experience/Education - High School Diploma or GED. - 2+ years of experience working as a bartender preferred. - RASS Certification required (or ability to obtain). Physical Demands and Work Environment - Physical Demands: Regularly required to walk, sit, reach, balance, and stoop. Must be able to lift and move up to 35 pounds (kegs/cases) and frequently use stairs. - Work Environment: Exposed to long periods of standing and walking in a high-volume hospitality setting. - Schedule: Requires the flexibility to work dinner service, weekends, holidays, and late-night hours.
