Job Description:
- Review requirements and design documents to create comprehensive test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing on digital banking builds/releases.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and UX designers to ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Raise detailed and reproducible defect reports; verify bug fixes.
- Maintain and execute manual test cases.
- Contribute to building and executing basic automated test scripts is a plus.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Support UAT activities and documentation for regulatory/compliance needs.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in QA testing (digital banking or fintech environment experience is a plus).
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies.
- Experience with using Jira or similar tools.
- Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, and usage automation tools like BrowserStack is a bonus.
- Understanding of banking products and digital user journeys is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills to articulate issues and work with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive and eager to learn, especially digital banking trends.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks.
