Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop the next generation of cost-effective AC/DC switching power supplies. This role will be responsible for end-to-end power supply design, from concept and schematic development through validation and production release, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, quality, and manufacturability. Responsibilities - Design and develop AC/DC switching power supplies from concept to production, including schematic design, component selection, and circuit optimization - Apply strong theoretical knowledge of power electronics and electrical engineering principles to achieve high efficiency, reliability, and cost targets - Perform design analysis, simulation, and verification to validate electrical performance - Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) to ensure smooth transition to mass production - Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during development, validation, and production stages - Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure overall product success - Prepare and maintain design documentation, test reports, and technical specifications - Support engineering change orders (ECOs) and continuous product improvement initiatives Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field - Minimum 2+ years of hands-on electrical design experience in power supplies - Proven experience designing AC/DC switching power supplies - Strong theoretical foundation in power electronics and electrical concepts - Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles - Ability to analyze, debug, and resolve complex electrical issues Soft Skills & Competencies - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team - Clear communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and reliability Benefits - 401(k) - 401(k) matching - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Life insurance - Paid time off - Vision insurance
