High School Social Worker Location: Chicago, Illinois Pay: $45–$55 per hour (depending on experience) Position Type: Full-Time, Contract Assignment Dates: August 7, 2026 – October 26, 2026 Make a Difference Where It Matters Most SchoolHouse Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated High School Social Worker to join one of our partnering school districts in the Chicago area. This full-time contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact by supporting students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic success in a collaborative school environment. Responsibilities - Provide individual and group counseling services to students. - Conduct social-emotional and behavioral assessments. - Collaborate with teachers, administrators, psychologists, counselors, and families to support student success. - Participate in IEP, 504, and multidisciplinary team meetings. - Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution. - Connect students and families with community resources and support services. - Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district, state, and federal regulations. - Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications - Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required. - Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement. - Previous school-based experience preferred. - Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. - Passion for supporting student well-being and academic success.
