Occupational Therapist (OT)

Peak Behavioral Health is seeking a pediatric Occupational Therapist to join its interdisciplinary clinic in Oklahoma City, OK. Come join our team as we provide a comprehensive and collaborative approach in helping children with autism and other disabilities. Our clinic includes psychology, ABA, OT, and Speech services. At Peak, we strive to help children and families reach their highest potential. This position primarily consists of the following: The Position: - Assess individual fine and gross motor, sensory, and activities of daily living (ADL) skills - Create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans - Serve as a team member for multidisciplinary evaluations - Perform small group and individual therapy based on client needs - Provide family education and training to assist in transfer of skills - Be willing to supervise and develop a team of COTAs as the clinic grows - Work in an outpatient, private-practice setting - Maintain client records - Maintain confidentiality of patient records in according with HIPAA and State and Federal Regulations Qualifications: - 2+ years’ experience working with children and families in a pediatric setting - Prior experience working with children with autism or other intellectual disabilities - Masters or doctoral degree in occupational therapy, and be licensed in the state of Oklahoma - Excellent communication skills with other providers and families - Feeding experience is a plus - Must have great problem-solving skills - Available full-time – 40 hours/week - Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. - Proficient in using technology (Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Office and familiar with EMR systems) - Passionate about helping children and their families Benefits: - Competitive Pay (Base salary $70,000 | Total compensation $85,000–$100,000+ based on caseload and COTA supervision) - Medical Insurance - Dental Insurance - Vision Insurance - Paid Maternity Leave - Short-Term Disability - Paid Time Off - Paid Holidays - Be a part of an incredible team - *$2500 Signing Bonus* We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law
