Director of Engineering

About the job The Head of Engineering Delivery manages Monterosa's delivery engineering team, comprising engineering leads and engineers with different levels of experience. The team is responsible for designing and building fan-engagement experiences for our customers (major sports and entertainment organisations) and their fans. Our solutions are built on Monterosa / Interaction Cloud and based on Monterosa products (FanKit, Proxima, Loyalty Layer for example). Our delivery engineering team integrates these products into customer environments and provides custom functionality and new production features. We do this using AI tooling and Monterosa’s unique Velocity spec-driven development pipeline. This is both a management role requiring deep technical expertise and a hands-on problem-solving role. You will lead by example and lean on your significant experience as a developer, engineering lead, and technical architect. Your goal is to get the most out of your team and ensure that you and they have fun and learn in the process.
