Senior Software Engineer (Platform team)

What you will do - Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, you will design, build and operate the identity and account services — authentication, authorization and user/team directory — that every other Sysdig engineering team depends on - Build scalable, highly available, distributed and performant platform services used by multiple engineering teams - Build and maintain the cross-product capabilities the team owns, including automations, analytics system and ticketing integration - Own and evolve the best-in-class onboarding experience for connecting cloud provider accounts (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI), working closely with Product, Frontend, Design, and QE. - Participate in an on-call rotation to address any urgent issues What you will bring with you - 5+ years of professional working experience as a Software Engineer designing and shipping distributed, highly available services. - Strong proficiency in Go or Java and hands-on experience with Postgres or another relational database and messaging system (such as NATS). - Experience with AI coding agents (Claude or others) and a proactive approach to learning how to leverage them to improve workflows.
