Product Engineer, Mid-Senior

ABOUT THE ROLE Join the product engineering team at a Series A/B AI company serving industrial workforce and supply chain operations. You will apply AI agents and frontier models to real product problems, while also building core marketplace, payments, and platform capabilities. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Integrate existing agents and frontier models into worker, business, and operations products to improve vetting, matching, and fulfilment. - Lead frontend and backend development, and mentor other engineers. - Design and build real-time matching systems, automated vetting pipelines, distributed systems, and APIs. - Own product features end to end, collaborating with product and design from discovery through deployment. - Partner with technical and operational leaders to shape architecture and product priorities. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Three to five years of experience owning and shipping software products, preferably on early-stage teams. - Experience delivering scalable products in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and working across functions. - Strong product intuition and a record of connecting engineering work to user needs and business impact. - Proficiency with TypeScript, React or React Native, Node.js, and/or PostgreSQL. - Experience integrating LLMs or agents into production products, including prompting and tool integrations. - Background in applied AI, marketplaces, matching or recommendation systems, or operational software is valuable. - Strong technical fundamentals and evidence of initiative, such as independent projects or comparable work. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Base salary: $140,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION On-site in New York, New York.
