What You'll Do As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will: - Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. - Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. - Help ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout their hospital stay. - Record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team. - Assist with patient transportation to tests, procedures, and other departments. - Change bed linens and maintain a clean, organized patient environment. - Assist with meal service, feeding, and between-meal nourishment as appropriate. - Support nurses with a variety of patient care activities while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide exceptional care and outstanding service. Additional Job Description Minimum Education - High school diploma or GED required. Experience - At least one year of patient care experience in a healthcare setting or as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred. Licensure & Certifications - Current South Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. - Must be listed on the South Carolina Nurse Aide Registry and remain in good standing. - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or obtained within required timeframe). - Crisis Prevention Training may be required based on department assignment.
