Primary Skills - DataStage - SQL - ETL - Datawarehousing - DB2 - Netezza Specialization - DataStage - SQL - ETL - Datawarehousing - DB2 - Netezza Job requirements About Role Job Description – B2 Band (Senior DataStage Engineer / Developer, 5–8 Years) Job Title: Senior DataStage Engineer (B2) Experience: 5–8 years Project Type – L3 Support Shift working – Yes rotational Interview- 3 rounds, one round Face-to-face at office Job Details: As a Senior DataStage/Netezza Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise data warehouse solutions. You will ensure high performance, data integrity, and availability of mission-critical systems that support business operations across the bank. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain DataStage/Netezza-based data warehouse objects (tables, views, stored procedures, scripts). - Design, build, and optimize DataStage ETL jobs and DB2 SQL queries for complex data transformations. - Perform database administration tasks including schema design, access control, and system monitoring. - Support database backup, recovery, and migration activities. - Ensure compliance with security and data governance guidelines for sensitive information. - Partner with IT and business teams to deliver accurate and timely data solutions. - Analyze logs, troubleshoot performance issues, and recommend enhancements. - Document processes, workflows, and technical solutions. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. - 5–8 years of strong experience in Netezza, DataStage, DB2, and SQL. - Proficient in database performance monitoring and optimization. - Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting. - Solid problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills. Nice to Have: - Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Snowflake). - Experience with Agile project delivery.
