Senior Solution Architect (Application) - Own the end-to-end technical design of applications, including services, APIs, integrations, and system communication. - Define and guide application architecture using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Design APIs and integrations across multiple systems. - Guide engineering teams on architectural and technical design decisions. - Review implemented solutions to ensure alignment with the defined architecture. - Maintain clear and practical architecture documentation that can be easily followed by new engineers. - Design and support event-driven architectures using Kafka. - Work with self-managed infrastructure rather than managed cloud services. - Contribute with a strong hands-on background across both backend and frontend development. - Apply solution/application architecture experience within a product-company environment. Requirements Requirements - Proven experience owning solution or application architecture, beyond senior-level development responsibilities. - Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. - Strong knowledge of REST API design and microservices architecture. - Experience designing integrations and communication between multiple systems. - Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka. - Strong backend and frontend technical background. - Experience working with self-managed infrastructure rather than relying primarily on managed cloud services. - Ability to document architecture clearly and practically for engineering teams. - Experience working in a product company, rather than project delivery only. - Strong ability to guide engineering teams and make architectural design decisions.
