We are seeking experienced Medical Transcribers tojoin our team on a contract basis to support our growing needs. Job Description: As a Medical Transcriber forStrategic Business Assistance Solutions, you will be responsible for convertingaudio recordings of varying quality into verbatim text files. These recordingswill primarily involve complex medical terminology and may contain a variety ofverbal communications. The transcriptions must be accurate, completed withinstrict deadlines, and compliant with HIPAA and IRB standards. Key Responsibilities: - - Verbatim Transcription:Accurately transcribe audio recordings into text/word files, ensuring that allverbal communications are captured verbatim. - - Medical Terminology Expertise:Utilize your deep understanding of medical terminology to produce precisetranscriptions, ensuring accuracy and consistency in medical content. - - Timely Delivery: Complete alltranscriptions within a week of receiving the audio files. For urgent requests,transcriptions must be completed within 48 hours. - - Quality Assurance: Maintain aminimum quality score of 99%, ensuring all transcriptions meet the higheststandards of accuracy and completeness. - - Compliance: Adhere to strictHIPAA compliance and ensure that all transcription processes meet local andnational IRB regulations and standards. - - Production Requirements: Meetthe requirement of producing at least 5,000 transcription/editing lines(eScription/Emdat) per billing cycle, with a minimum of 1,000 lines onSaturdays or Sundays. Requirements Required Skills andQualifications: - - Certification: NIH and CITItrained and certified transcription staff are required, or an equivalentqualification must be justified. - - Experience: Extensive experiencein medical transcription, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention todetail. - - Technical Proficiency: Abilityto work with various transcription platforms and ensure all hardware meets thespecified requirements.
