ABOUT THE ROLE
Build full-stack software that supports the operations of an early-stage investment and startup ecosystem, including application workflows, events, and internal tools. You will work closely with operations teams and own product decisions from problem discovery through design and deployment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, build, and ship applications for application pipelines, events, and internal workflows.
- Develop event features for registration, coordination, and media handling.
- Integrate with tools such as calendars, messaging platforms, email, and data pipelines.
- Build semantic search and AI-enabled tools using language models, embeddings, and natural language interfaces.
- Automate scheduling, notifications, application routing, interview coordination, and email triage.
- Create dashboards and analytics to help teams understand operational metrics and improve processes.
- Work with partners and operations teams to understand needs and make pragmatic engineering tradeoffs.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- One to 12 years of experience building and shipping full-stack products.
- End-to-end product ownership, including problem discovery, user interface design, and deployment.
- Experience building both backend systems and polished user interfaces, with a product-minded approach to engineering.
- Proficiency with Rails, React, PostgreSQL, or equivalent technologies; experience with Python, LLMs, semantic search, or embeddings is valuable.
- Experience building AI-enabled products or features, including recent projects or prototypes.
- Startup or early-stage experience, with the ability to work autonomously and navigate ambiguity.
- Strong computer science fundamentals or equivalent demonstrated through substantial projects.
- Experience with internal tools, workflow systems, or application and CRM software is useful.
