Sobre el empleo
Property intelligence is reshaping how the world understands the built environment, and Nearmap is driving that. We put powerful aerial imagery, AI-driven analytics, and geospatial tools into the hands of the people who plan, build, insure, and govern the places we all live and work. Our technology turns property uncertainty into decisive action, and our culture brings out the best in the people who build it.
We move fast, we care about craft, and we're proud of what we're building. If you're energized by turning hard problems into real-world impact, we'd love to meet you.
We are seeking a Senior People Operations Partner to build and scale a best-in-class global People Operations function. This hands-on senior individual contributor will deliver exceptional employee experiences, simplify complex processes, and accelerate our shift toward self-service, automation, and AI-enabled operations. The role combines operational judgment, HR technology expertise, strong cross-functional partnership, and end-to-end ownership of improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle & Service Delivery
- Own onboarding, employee changes, promotions, transfers, leaves and offboarding processes.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT and Legal to resolve escalations and deliver accurate, timely service.
- Maintain consistent global processes while accommodating local requirements across the US, Australia, Canada and Poland.
HR Technology, Automation & AI
- Serve as a functional expert in UKG Ready, including workflows, reporting, configuration support, data quality and adoption.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate manual touchpoints, streamline approvals and expand employee and manager self-service.
- Use AI tools to automate manual, repetitive People Operations work such as case triage, document and data processing, employee inquiries and reporting, improving speed, accuracy and the internal customer experience.
- Evaluate, pilot and roll out AI-enabled workflows and assistants, with appropriate data privacy, security and human-review controls, and measure their impact on efficiency and employee experience.
- Translate business needs into scalable system solutions; support testing, implementation, documentation and change management.
Operational Excellence & Employee Experience
- Design and document standard operating procedures, ownership models, service standards and knowledge resources.
- Analyze recurring issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable process improvements.
- Simplify complex People processes into clear guidance and intuitive employee experiences.
Data, Compliance & Insights
- Conduct audits and reconciliations; maintain accurate employee records and appropriate confidentiality controls.
- Support internal and external audits, compliance reviews and reporting.
- Track operational metrics such as completion time, data accuracy, self-service adoption and employee experience.
Projects & Stakeholder Partnership
- Lead cross-functional People Operations projects from discovery to launch, including milestones, risks and stakeholder alignment.
- Influence partners through clear communication and practical recommendations.
- Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to colleagues without direct people-management accountability.
