Unplugs drains and repairs faucets and flush valves. Responds to electrical, HVAC, and plumbing failures. Repairs medical gas outlets, carts, gurneys, IV stands, and appliances for patient use. Assists in the installation of signage and other wall-hung items. Provides maintenance support in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and facility improvement functions. Communicates with the manager and team regarding the progress of work and activities. Maintains an understanding of healthcare, federal, state, and local regulations and supports meeting the requirements. Participates in Quality Improvement initiatives. Maintains and replaces medical gases as needed in designated areas. Responds to equipment failures in the Boiler Room. Other duties as assigned.
