MISSION : We are looking for a “Finance Manager” who acts as a trusted advisor to the business by translating financial data into meaningful insights and partnering with stakeholders across organization to drive business performance; while ensuring compliance with regulatory, accounting and internal governance requirements. This role is a direct report to Regional CFO SEA & India. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead end-to-end financial controlling & accounting for Coface Singapore (2 legal entities: Coface Singapore Branch; and Coface Services South Asia Pacific) - Oversee Singapore Branch regulatory requirements submission to Monetary Authority of Singapore, and collaborate closely with Actuarial team - Provide regular business update to CEO and Regional CFO - Provide financial insights to guide/influence decisions making, steering business performance, and ensuring alignment with business priorities - Play key role in financial planning & analysis by preparing & managing budgets, forecasts, deep dive actual variance vs. budget, prior year, and run rate - Be a sparring partner with non-finance stakeholders to understand business Risk & Opportunities and its financial implication, and escalate to right channel on timely manner - Lead, coach & guide team members (Lead team of 3 members: 2 in Singapore, 1 in Thailand) to ensure timely deliverable of operational tasks i.e., - Regulatory requirement submission - Audit (internal & external) & tax compliance - Group reporting both actual and budget/forecast - Payment approval and Procurement - Be a change agent - Champion operational excellence by continuously driving process simplification & efficiency with close collaboration with Shared Service Center (Bangalore) - Be a role model – Adhere to Coface’s core value Client focus; Expertise; Courage & accountability; Collaboration - Live “ONE SEA & INDIA finance team” vision – support & strongly collaborate with other finance team members across SEA & India; and drive positive team engagement - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree – in business or finance or accounting - Minimum 7 years of working experience in FP&A or controlling - FP&A, Controlling, or Audit experience from multi-national corporations (MNCs) are preferred - Experience leading a team is an added advantage but not prerequisite - CPA Australia certification or ACCA certification or CA Singapore certification is a plus, but not prerequisite Other Competencies (e.g. Strategic Thinking, Execution Effectiveness, Networking & Influencing, Deciding & Initiating Action) - Excellent logical & analytical skills (financial planning & analysis, business case e.g., return on investment business case) - Attention to detail - Strong accountability (sense of ownership) - Good stakeholder management skill, collaboration, and communication - Strong leadership competencies - Hybrid working model after the first month - Great place to work: central and modern office - Opportunities to learn: budget every year for training, languages platform, e-learning platform, dedicated development program… - Career opportunities: Opportunity to build your career (both locally and internationally) in a large global company, one of the world leaders in its field - Health care
