Technical Recruiter

ABOUT THE ROLE Join the recruiting team at an early-stage AI company and help grow its engineering organization. You will lead technical hiring across engineering, machine learning, and infrastructure, while building recruiting practices that can scale with the team. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, from sourcing and assessment through offer negotiation and close. - Partner with technical leaders to define hiring needs, team goals, and candidate profiles. - Build and improve interview processes, sourcing strategies, and recruiting resources. - Engage passive candidates through targeted research, outreach, referrals, and community building. - Understand candidate motivations and guide them through a thoughtful recruiting experience. - Manage candidate pipelines and use funnel metrics, conversion rates, and hiring pace to inform decisions. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - At least 4 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, including 2 or more years hiring for software engineering, machine learning, or infrastructure roles. - Experience recruiting at an early-stage or high-growth startup, particularly in competitive AI and machine learning talent markets. - Strong outbound sourcing and candidate positioning skills, with a record of closing candidates through offer negotiation. - Experience building or improving recruiting processes and infrastructure. - Working knowledge of Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Ashby. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Base salary is $150,000 to $215,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available. LOCATION On-site in San Francisco, California.
