The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead the accounting function as a hands-on owner of the month-end close, audit preparation and management reporting. Build scalable finance processes and tooling while working alongside an outsourced accounting provider.
What you'll do
- Take responsibility for the accuracy of day-to-day accounting, from the month-end close and account tie-outs to period-end adjustments, revenue treatment and reporting.
- Build audit readiness from the ground up, including a roadmap, organized records, internal controls and preparation for a first external audit.
- Design and roll out scalable processes and tools for the purchasing and payables cycle, along with visibility into company spending.
- Improve accounting workflows through process automation, keeping them well documented and auditable.
- Work with an outsourced accounting provider on daily operations while focusing your own time on systems, automation and shortening the close.
- Give leadership timely, dependable financial insight into where money is going across the business.
