LinkedIn Easy Apply automation: what Jobrona does and does not do

LinkedIn's rules forbid automation, and LinkedIn can limit or block an account for it. Jobrona does not use your LinkedIn account unless you connect it, and connecting is optional.

Jobrona's job index is built from company career pages and a few job feeds, not from LinkedIn. The LinkedIn channel is a separate, opt-in part of the browser extension. This page lists what it does.

Updated 26 October 2026.

How it is switched on

You load the Jobrona extension in Chrome or Edge, pair it in Settings, then connect LinkedIn there. Before you connect, Jobrona shows you the risk and asks for your consent. Your LinkedIn session and cookies stay in your browser.

What it does

  • Opens an Easy Apply dialog on a LinkedIn job and fills each step from your facts
  • Sends the application when every required question has an answer from your facts
  • Searches LinkedIn with your target roles and reads a job's page when you queue a task
  • Imports your own LinkedIn profile into your facts, when you ask
  • Gives you the link when a job sends you to the employer's site, instead of applying there

Where it stops

  • A required question with no answer in your facts: it stops before Next or Submit and asks you
  • A captcha, a security check or a warning from LinkedIn: it pauses the channel and tells you
  • A signed-out browser: the task stops

The default limits

10 applications, 80 job views and 15 searches a day, and half of that for the first 7 days. It works on weekdays from 9:00 to 19:00 in your time zone. Applications are spaced 4 to 12 minutes apart, with a break of 20 to 60 minutes after every 3 to 5 applications. You can change the limits in Settings and disconnect at any time, which cancels the queued tasks.

Low limits lower the chance of a warning. They do not remove the risk, and Jobrona cannot promise your account will not be limited.

Questions and answers

How do I automatically apply for jobs on LinkedIn?

LinkedIn's rules forbid automation. If you decide to accept that risk, Jobrona's optional extension channel can fill and send Easy Apply dialogs with the limits above. Most of Jobrona's applications do not use LinkedIn at all: they go to the employer's own form.

Does Indeed automatically apply for jobs?

Jobrona does not use an Indeed account or apply through Indeed. It applies on the company's own application form. For what Indeed's own features do, read Indeed's help pages.
