Why this role is a game changer As a Bailey Nelson Store Manager in Training, you won’t just support the store, you’ll help run it. You’ll play a key role in delivering seamless, joy-filled customer experiences, from clinic to frame styling to final dispense. This is more than a job - it’s an intensive, fully supported leadership launchpad designed to transition you directly into running your own store. Two ways to win in this role: - Strong Retail Store Manager with zero optics experience? You bring the proven leadership, team coaching, and commercial chops, and our in-depth 6-month training will teach you the clinical and dispensing side from scratch. - Optics background ready for your own management role? You know the clinical world, and we’ll fast-track your retail management, P&L ownership, and flagship leadership skills so you can run your own store in 6–12 months. What we’re looking for - Retail, Hospitality, or Optical Leadership Experience: Proven experience at a supervisor or management level within a fast-paced retail, hospitality, or customer-centric environment You know how to lead from the front, manage shifts, and keep a team motivated - Values-Driven & Grounded: Someone who aligns perfectly with our culture and values - down to earth, tight knit and constantly striving to improve - Commercial Acumen & Sales Drive: Proven experience at a supervisor or store management level, with a track record of smashing sales budgets and driving retail KPIs (Multipairs, ATV, Conversion) - Exceptional Customer Service Skills: A passion for delivering world-class optical experiences, mastering the customer journey, and prioritising the customer above all else - Natural Leadership & Accountability: Experience running daily store operations, managing rosters, and taking full ownership of store performance.
