About the role
Do you want to build the internal products a revenue team actually runs on, and do it with AI agents as your default tool?
The market calls this role GTM Engineer, and the market version feeds the funnel: route leads, score them, wire signals between tools. We're hiring for something bigger, and the title says so.
You're a builder, closer to a founding product engineer for the revenue org. You build the internal products Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success run on.
Every build is product work. What's the problem, who has it, did they adopt the fix. You'll feel the difference between shipping something and shipping something people use.
You won't get a technical spec. You get a real problem from a real person, dig into it, and come back with a recommendation on how to solve it.
Why this job is exciting
You will build with AI agents as your default. Syndio's GTM function is AI-native. You build with Claude Code or a comparable agentic tool, alongside people who build at the frontier of agentic AI. The job is directing agents through research, spec, build, and validate.
You will extend a working foundation, not start from zero. Agents already run recurring work for the revenue org, built in-house and in production. They are early versions, and part of the job is making them better.
You will work across the whole revenue motion. Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success all depend on what you build, so you see the full customer lifecycle rather than one slice of it.
Your work is visible immediately. Pipeline data, renewal risk, and partner health all reach the executive team. You'll see the impact of what you ship in the room, not three layers removed from it.
We measure success by whether people use what you build. A tool nobody uses is a signal to find out why, and you'll own that follow-up.
What you'll do
- Build the tools the revenue team actually adopts: dashboards, data pipelines, ops apps. Build fast with agents, then validate hard against the live system, not against what the model claims it did.
- Build the agents themselves. Improve the agents already running for the revenue team and add new skills, integrations, and autonomous workflows with measurable outcomes.
- Build sophisticated marketing tools that show what's driving the pipeline and 10x Marketing's output.
- Build internal sales tools: post-call follow-ups, demo environments, research, prospecting and enrichment pipelines, competitive battlecards, and pipeline data leadership can trust.
- Build the partner and customer operations workflows: health reports that run themselves, and the onboarding, renewal, and expansion workflows that make growth easier to see.
- Capture what you ship, document it, and tie it to the problem it solved and who adopted it.
About you
- You are curious. You ask what is really going on before you build anything. You ask questions about the problem, the people who have it, and what it costs them.
- You've built agents and workflows. You have built at least one agent and one automated workflow that someone used. n8n experience is a plus. Specific tools matter less than knowing when automation is the right answer.
- You're AI-native, or hungry to be. Claude Code, Cursor, or a comparable agentic tool is your default. You direct agents through research, spec, build, and validate.
- You have product instinct. You translate a business problem into a technical solution, start from who has the problem, and judge your work by whether it got adopted.
- You're intellectually honest. You validate hard and flag a gap rather than fill it with a number you can't source.
- You're a systems thinker. You see how Marketing, Sales, and CS connect, you move fast in ambiguity, and you document as you go.
- You're low ego with strong opinions. You make your case with data, and when the call goes the other way, you commit.
- You're a finisher. Live and used is the bar. You'll have something embarrassingly functional running before you've read half the docs.
Bonus points
You've built real internal tools with an AI coding agent, actual work and not a demo, and you can explain how you validated them.
You have a side project or internal tool running in production right now, and you can send us the link.
You've shipped something, watched nobody use it, found out why, and built differently next time.
You know when no-code (Zapier, n8n) is the fastest path and when to write code instead.
You know the HR tech, compensation, or people analytics world.
