As a Radiology Technology Assistant, you¿ll play a vital role in supporting our imaging sections and clinical services, ensuring seamless patient care and operational efficiency. Role Overview As a Radiology Technology Assistant, you¿ll perform a variety of clerical, technical, and patient-related duties under general supervision. You¿ll assist the Radiology team in providing exceptional patient care, from check-in to exam preparation and patient education. Your work will directly support multiple radiology modalities and clinical services, ensuring smooth operations and a positive patient experience. What You Will Do - Assist with patient check-in, exam review, and preparation for visits. - Provide patient education and support during exams and procedures. - Transport patients within the department as needed. - Perform clerical and technical duties according to established protocols. - Support multiple radiology modalities and clinical services per operational needs. What You Will Need Required Qualifications - High School graduate or equivalent. - Basic computer knowledge. - Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required upon hire or during orientation. Preferred Qualifications - Medical knowledge and terminology. - One (1) year clinical experience.
