Sr Product Manager (BMAD methodology)

Our client is a SaaS product company that has spent the last several months redefining how we build software. We have adopted BMAD, a specification-driven methodology, as the backbone of our development process, and we are now using AI agents across the lifecycle. Product management, UI/UX and coding are well advanced in this transformation. QA already benefits from automatically generated unit tests, while integration and system testing are the next areas being brought up to the same pace. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who understands this way of working and can help us push it further. You will own product specifications that both people and AI agents can act on, and you will work closely with AI (Claude) to define clear, testable requirements for our agents. Key Responsibilities - Own the product vision, roadmap and prioritization for your product area, balancing customer needs, business goals and technical constraints. - Lead product discovery and turn it into structured, specification-driven artifacts (PRDs, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria) following the BMAD process. - Work with Claude and other AI tools to draft, refine and validate requirements, and to define the requirements and operating instructions for our AI agents. - Write specifications precise enough to drive downstream AI-assisted design, coding and test generation, with minimal ambiguity and clear definitions of done. - Manage the product backlog and delivery workflow in Jira, keeping epics, stories and statuses accurate and traceable back to the specification. - Collaborate with UI/UX, engineering and QA throughout the cycle, including helping close the gaps in integration and system test coverage through clear, testable requirements. - Continuously improve our development process by capturing feedback, measuring results and refining how people and AI agents collaborate. - Communicate progress, trade-offs and risks to stakeholders and leadership. Requirements - 6+ years of product management experience, including significant time at a SaaS company. - Working knowledge of BMAD or a comparable specification-driven methodology, and the ability to apply it in practice. - Proven experience writing detailed requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria. - Hands-on experience with Jira for backlog management, workflow configuration and reporting. - Practical experience using generative AI tools (such as Claude) to produce and refine product artifacts. - Strong analytical, prioritization and stakeholder management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications - Experience defining requirements, prompts or instructions for AI agents, or working in an AI-assisted development environment. - Understanding of QA practices, including unit, integration and system testing, and how requirements drive test coverage. - Experience introducing or evolving a development process in a growing organization. - Comfort working with technical teams, APIs and cloud-based SaaS architectures.
