Finance Process Excellence Internship (m./f./div.)

Keenfinity Group is transforming and modernizing its global Finance organization. We are improving financial processes, harmonizing SAP systems and developing new reporting and analytics solutions. We are looking for a curious and motivated apprentice to join our Finance team in Ovar, Portugal, for 12 months. This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates who want to gain practical experience in Data Analytics, Power BI and Finance. No extensive professional experience is required. You will learn from experienced colleagues, work with real business data and gradually develop your technical and analytical skills in an international environment. Your Responsibilities 1. Financial Processes - Learn and support international Finance processes, including: Invoice-to-Pay (I2P); Business-to-Cash (B2C); Business-to-Reporting (B2R). - Support the analysis and documentation of existing Finance processes and workflows. - Assist in identifying process inefficiencies, recurring manual activities and improvement opportunities. - Support the preparation and maintenance of process documentation, work instructions and guidelines. - Contribute to the standardization and harmonization of Finance processes. - Assist in monitoring process performance and relevant financial KPIs. - Support Finance projects and ad-hoc analyses as required. 2. Process Improvement and Automation - Support the identification of opportunities to simplify and automate recurring Finance activities. - Assist in improving reports, controls and workflows using Excel, Power BI, Power Automate and other digital tools. - Explore practical applications of Artificial Intelligence and new technologies within Finance. - Support the testing and implementation of process improvements and automation solutions. - Assist in evaluating whether implemented improvements deliver the expected benefits. - Collaborate with Finance colleagues to ensure that digital solutions meet actual business and process needs. 3. Data Analysis and Reporting - Collect, organize and analyze financial and process-related data. - Support the preparation of reports, dashboards, presentations and management information. - Assist in maintaining accurate and consistent financial information. - Help create clear visualizations to explain process performance, operational issues and improvement opportunities. - Support the analysis of data from SAP, Excel and other relevant business systems. - Assist in monitoring the impact of process improvements and automation initiatives. - Recently graduated in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Controlling or a related field. - Strong interest in financial processes, data analysis, digitalization and process improvement. - Interest in understanding how Artificial Intelligence and automation can be applied to Finance. - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Previous knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage, but not mandatory. - Structured, reliable and curious working approach. - Motivated to learn, ask questions and work as part of an international team. - Basic English communication skills; willingness to improve English is important. - No extensive professional experience is required. - Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
