Network Engineer

An opportunity for a Network Engineer - External OPM Devices and Lab with an Israeli cybersecurity company. - Location: Remote - Employment type: Full-time - Working schedule: CET Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering or a similar role. - Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, architectures, and protocols. - Hands-on experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. - Experience in network troubleshooting, investigation, and traffic analysis. - Practical experience with network labs and equipment. - Ability to validate device behaviour and reproduce real-world network scenarios. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills. - Upper-Intermediate English. Nice to Have - Scripting or programming experience (Python, Bash, etc.). - Experience with network configuration and testing automation. Familiarity with APIs and network management tools. Responsibilities: - Set up, maintain, and support lab environments for external OPM devices. - Configure and manage network equipment. - Prepare lab scenarios for new device integrations, features, and customer escalations. - Reproduce customer issues and validate device, protocol, and integration behaviour. - Troubleshoot network configuration, connectivity, and device-related issues. - Analyze network traffic, logs, and configurations to identify root causes. - Collaborate with Development, QA, Support, and Product teams. - Maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting procedures.
