ABOUT THE ROLE
Help a recruiting technology team make AI-powered talent operations effective at scale. You will oversee recruiting agents, apply human judgment to candidate conversations, and help improve how people and AI work together.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Monitor candidate conversations handled by AI agents, identify errors, and intervene when human judgment is needed.
- Manage sensitive or high-stakes candidate discussions, including compensation negotiations and objections.
- Review agent outputs, label strong and weak responses, and provide feedback that improves performance.
- Audit candidate matches, outreach quality, and recruiting conversion metrics.
- Guide candidates through final hiring stages, manage offers, and help close placements.
- Document effective practices, build standard operating procedures, and develop operational playbooks.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 2 years of experience in talent operations, recruiting, or sourcing at early-stage technology startups.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar to assess output quality, spot errors, and understand limitations.
- Experience closing placements and managing final-stage candidate conversations, including offer negotiations and objection handling.
- Ability to use recruiting data, such as KPIs, dashboards, A/B tests, and conversion analysis, to guide decisions.
- Experience training, labeling, or providing feedback on AI or machine learning system outputs.
- Experience working with product, engineering, and leadership teams in a startup environment.
- Familiarity with tools or technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, or Supabase is helpful.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Competitive base pay and uncapped performance-based compensation tied to placements. Equity may be available based on performance and scope. Health insurance and visa sponsorship are available.
LOCATION
Hybrid in San Francisco, California. Remote work within the United States is also listed as an option.
