Annuity Operations Analyst

Location: 4900 Tiedeman Road, Brooklyn Ohio The annuity operations team provides back-office support for Key Investment Services advisors with new annuity and life insurance orders as well as the maintenance of existing annuity policies. Essential Job Functions for the Annuity Operations Analyst are as follows: - Review annuity applications and related documentation - Work with KIS advisors to ensure funding is in place for annuity orders - Assist with annuity linking and delinking requests - Process manual annuity and life insurance orders - Assist advisors with questions regarding rep changes on annuity policies. - Communicate and follow up on all items that are not in good order - Monitor Work Basket to complete assigned tasks - Contact carriers to request statements, discuss the status of orders, troubleshoot issues with policies - Document and maintain department procedures - Make quality decisions in a timely manner; sometimes with incomplete or ambiguous information and under tight deadlines. - Prioritize workloads and issues while working independently with minimal supervision. - Comprehensive understanding of risks and controls - Ad hoc project involvement and/or assignments from management Required Qualifications: - Bachelors degree required or equivalent (required) - 3-5 years banking or brokerage experience - Ability to recognize and understand client issues and develop appropriate responses and solutions - Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable with the ability to handle changing priorities to support the team as needed - Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail - Strong written and verbal communication skills Core Competencies - All KeyBank employees are expected to demonstrate Key’s Values and abide by Key’s Code of Conduct. Work Location Category - Hybrid COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $48,000.00 - $72,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
