The firm is seeking an experienced Attorney to support its growing mass arbitration practice and manage a substantial volume of litigation matters. Levi & Korsinsky LLP is seeking an experienced Attorney to support its mass arbitration and high-volume litigation practice. This position is responsible for independently managing a substantial caseload, preparing legal filings, advancing arbitration matters, and ensuring cases progress efficiently through their respective procedural stages. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong litigation fundamentals, sound legal judgment, and the ability to take ownership of assigned matters while collaborating with senior attorneys on complex legal issues. What you’ll do: - Case Management: Independently manage a substantial portfolio of active litigation and arbitration matters, overseeing cases from assignment through resolution. - High-Volume Arbitration: Handle a significant volume of mass arbitration cases, preparing filings and ensuring all procedural stages are effectively managed. - Legal Research and Writing: Draft legal briefs, prepare written arguments, and conduct necessary legal research to support case progression. - Courtroom and Hearing Experience: Present arguments in arbitration proceedings and communicate professionally with arbitrators and other legal professionals. - Independent Execution: Take ownership of assigned cases, proactively moving matters forward while maintaining accountability for their progress. What we’re looking for: - Education and Licensure: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active law license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. - Professional Experience: At least five years of litigation experience, with demonstrated abilities in handling and advancing cases independently. - Relevant Backgrounds: Experience from insurance defense, personal injury, or high-volume litigation practices is desirable. - Skills and Traits: Strong legal writing skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive, independent, and results-oriented approach. - Courtroom & Hearing Experience: Prior courtroom, hearing, or arbitration experience, with the ability to communicate legal arguments clearly, exercise sound judgment, and manage procedural deadlines. Direct mass arbitration experience is not required, provided the candidate demonstrates strong transferable litigation skills.
