Position Type: Full-Time, Remote Working Hours: U.S. Business Hours About the Role We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled Full-Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain features across both the front end and back end of a web platform. You’ll take ownership of your work from initial planning through deployment, ensuring the platform remains reliable, responsive, and easy to use. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving practical problems, works independently, and communicates effectively in a collaborative, largely asynchronous environment. What You’ll Own Full-Stack Development - Design, build, and maintain features across front-end interfaces and back-end systems. - Deliver consistent, high-quality user experiences across the platform. - Move comfortably between user interface development, server-side logic, and database work as project needs evolve. End-to-End Code Ownership - Take responsibility for features from initial scoping through deployment and post-release monitoring. - Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code. - Ensure delivered features meet requirements and function reliably in production. Collaboration & Problem-Solving - Work closely with the technical team to clarify requirements, evaluate technical constraints, and deliver practical solutions. - Communicate potential blockers and technical risks early. - Contribute to code reviews, share knowledge, and collaborate on technical decisions. Platform Reliability & Improvement - Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and technical debt. - Help maintain platform stability, performance, and responsiveness. - Suggest improvements to architecture, development tools, and team processes. Required Experience & Skills - Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer working on production applications. - Strong proficiency in modern front-end and back-end technologies. - Ability to work across user interfaces, server-side logic, and databases. - Experience translating product requirements into shipped features with minimal supervision. - Strong problem-solving skills and sound technical judgment. - Strong written English communication skills, including documenting technical decisions and collaborating asynchronously. - Ability to maintain time-zone overlap with colleagues and stakeholders when needed. What Makes You a Strong Fit - You take ownership of your work from planning through deployment and follow-up. - You communicate proactively when requirements are unclear, blockers arise, or a better technical approach is available. - You balance code quality and long-term maintainability with the need to deliver efficiently. - You work independently while keeping teammates informed of progress and important decisions. - You collaborate effectively in an asynchronous environment and manage your time well. - You focus on building practical solutions that support business goals without unnecessary complexity. What Success Looks Like - Delivering reliable, high-quality features across the front end and back end. - Taking ownership of development tasks with minimal hand-holding. - Maintaining clean, testable, and maintainable code. - Identifying and resolving bugs and performance issues before they affect users significantly. - Communicating clearly with the team and keeping work moving forward. - Contributing to continuous improvements in the platform and development process. Typical Day You’ll begin by reviewing team updates and prioritizing your current development tasks. Most of your day will involve writing and reviewing code, working across front-end components, back-end logic, and databases as needed. You may join focused discussions to clarify requirements or work through technical decisions before returning to development. You’ll finish by pushing your work, updating relevant tickets, and flagging any blockers or decisions that need input. Interview Process - Initial Application - Spark Hire One-Way Video Interview - Client Interview - Offer & Onboarding #LI-AG1
