Senior Technical Recruiter

About the company Our client is a fast-growing logistics technology company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own full-cycle recruiting for senior engineering positions, from scoping and sourcing through offer and close. Work closely with engineering leadership and company founders to shape the team and set a high bar for technical hiring. Combine hands-on sourcing with process design, careful candidate care and data-driven changes to pipeline strategy. What you'll do - Manage each senior engineering search from the first scoping conversation to a signed offer, including candidate flow and logistics. - Source candidates directly and write outreach that earns strong responses. - Screen rigorously and protect the hiring bar, including pushing back when quality slips. - Provide a polished, personal experience for senior candidates throughout the process. - Diagnose pipeline and offer issues using hiring data and candidate feedback, and adjust approach quickly. - Work alongside engineering managers to shape what each opening needs and how candidates are evaluated, with limited direction required. - Increase team leverage by working with sourcers and strengthening referral quality and conversion. Requirements What we're looking for - In-house technical recruiting experience at a venture-backed startup. - Prior title as a senior, founding or founding technical recruiter working in-house. - Track record of recruiting and closing senior software, platform, infrastructure, SRE, data science or machine learning engineers end-to-end. - Hands-on experience with candidate sourcing, outreach writing and scheduling coordination. - Proven ability to guide technical leaders in setting hiring criteria and evaluation steps. - Stable tenure, typically one to two or more years per role, with a record of seeing work through. - Degree required. - Lawful authorization to work in the United States. Bonus points - Big tech or high-bar company experience alongside startup recruiting.
