Why This Role Matters
As a DevOps Engineer, you will join our Infrastructure & Production Operations team, a team at the heart of how Tecsys runs and delivers its cloud platform. You’ll prototype, architect and build the development, testing and production infrastructure behind Tecsys services, managing it as code and automating wherever possible. Your work keeps the platform stable, scalable and secure for the healthcare and distribution customers who depend on it every day.

What You’ll Do
- Build and automate client infrastructure deployments on AWS and Azure, including hybrid architectures
- Design scalable deployment, CI/CD and automation solutions across the Tecsys platform lifecycle
- Use AI agents (Amazon Kiro) to orchestrate and accelerate technical tasks, validating the results
- Develop deployment logic, automated tests and incident-response playbooks
- Manage Kubernetes and container environments and monitor platform stability
- Troubleshoot incidents and take part in on-call support
- Partner with Development teams on deployment automation and scalability, and plan and run maintenance and continuous improvement work
Requirements
What You Bring
You do not need to match every line below. If most of it describes you, apply:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years supporting high-volume, highly available Java/.NET production systems, including 2+ years in AWS or Azure production
- Strong Linux/Unix, Bash scripting and networking fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Terraform and Ansible
- Solid AWS/Azure infrastructure knowledge, including IAM, EC2, VPC, load balancing and autoscaling
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins, and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic or Nagios
- Strong written and spoken English, required to work with clients, suppliers, business partners and colleagues outside Quebec.
