Our client is a fast-growing software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the technical delivery of customer deployments for a software platform, from integration work through ongoing tuning. Work directly with customers and a very small engineering team, deciding what to build from loosely defined requests and helping shape the engineering culture and future hiring.
What you'll do
- Fix bugs and ship platform extensions early on, then take ownership of a product area and later a major customer account.
- Build and tune the behavior of AI-powered features across several communication channels, including tool use and evaluation.
- Work directly with customer contacts to handle their ongoing feature requests and questions.
- Take new customer pilots from kickoff to first value and help convert them into contracts.
- Partner closely with senior engineering leadership to shape the product, the engineering culture and hiring.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 4 to 8 years of experience as a product or full-stack engineer.
- Direct customer-facing experience, turning customer requests into shipped features.
- A track record of taking applications powered by large language models into production use by live users.
- Full-stack or backend engineering experience, ideally with TypeScript, Python or Postgres.
- Experience working at a startup.
- Ability to decide what to build from an ambiguous request.
- Availability to start by mid-November 2026.
Bonus points
- Experience with voice or telephony infrastructure.
- Background at a customer experience or payments technology company.

- Base salary: USD 250,000 to 275,000 per year
