Founding Deployment Strategist

ABOUT THE ROLE A fast-growing AI startup in performance marketing is looking for its first dedicated customer-facing deployment hire. You will work closely with the founding team, advise consumer businesses on advertising strategy, and build the deployment function as the company grows. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Manage customer accounts end to end, including weekly meetings, preparing materials, and presenting performance insights to senior executives. - Advise customers on advertising strategy, explain AI-driven campaign activity, and bring customer context back to the product and systems. - Analyze advertising performance, audit accounts, and turn detailed campaign data into clear executive-level recommendations. - Make hands-on adjustments in advertising accounts to address gaps and improve performance when needed. - Develop deployment processes and playbooks, with the opportunity to hire and lead a team as the function expands. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Three to 15 years of experience in consulting, ideally at a top strategy consulting firm, along with relevant performance marketing or advertising experience. - Substantial hands-on expertise in performance advertising, beyond general digital marketing, brand marketing, or advertiser relationship management. - Experience with platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads, and strong skills in campaign analysis, account audits, and performance judgment. - Experience using AI tools and developer tools such as Claude Code or Codex to build or automate workflows. - Clear, confident communication with C-suite stakeholders and the ability to thrive in a high-agency startup environment. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Base salary: $180,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available. LOCATION On-site in New York, New York, United States.
