Forward Deployed Product Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE Own the customer lifecycle for AI voice agent deployments, from initial scoping through optimization and expansion. You will connect customer needs with product development, helping deliver measurable results while building the practices for a growing forward deployed function. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Manage customer relationships end to end, learning their business needs and scoping and deploying AI voice agents. - Optimize deployed agents and expand their use into additional customer workflows. - Meet with customer decision-makers to explain agent value, demonstrate return on investment, and communicate measurable impact. - Investigate call-level agent behavior, debug issues, customize conversation flows, and address compliance requirements. - Translate customer feedback and unmet needs into product capabilities in collaboration with the product team. - Develop playbooks and operating standards for the forward deployed product function. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Five or more years of product management experience, including substantial direct customer-facing work. - Experience at a startup, ideally in B2B SaaS or a regulated industry such as lending, financial services, or healthcare. - Product judgment and technical depth, including the ability to understand agent behavior and perform basic debugging. - Strong data intuition and the ability to analyze metrics, explain ROI, and turn findings into practical recommendations. - Comfort with ambiguity, end-to-end ownership, and frequent customer interaction. - Familiarity with AI workflow tools such as Cursor and ChatGPT. SQL and Claude Code experience are relevant. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Base salary: $150,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION On-site in San Francisco, California.
