RMF Cybersecurity Analyst - 557121

As a RMF Cybersecurity Analyst , you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating threats to AFRL systems and networks. You will work with a team of security professionals to develop and implement strategies to protect against cyberattacks and other security threats. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies and for conducting ongoing assessments of the DoD's security posture. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct ongoing assessments of the systems and networks to identify potential security threats - Analyze threat intelligence data to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities - Develop and implement strategies to protect against cyberattacks, malware, and other security threats - Collaborate with other security professionals to design and implement security controls, processes, and procedures - Participate in security incident response activities and investigations - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies and advise management on their potential impact on the DoD's security posture - Develop and deliver training programs to educate DoD personnel on security best practices - Update Risk Management Framework paperwork in coordination with change manager, ISSM, and Operation teams Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems security threat analysis, preferably in a DoD environment - Strong understanding of network security principles and practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and VPNs - Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks, such as NIST and ISO - Experience with threat intelligence tools and techniques, including malware analysis and reverse engineering - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Active Secret clearance or above - Active Security+ (or 8 equivalent) - On the job training to test and obtain ACAS Scans certificaiton Benefits Benefits Include: - Covers 100% of employee benefit premiums, including Medical (PPO or HDHP Option), Vision, Dental - Matching 401K - Short- and Long-Term Disability - Pet Insurance - Professional Development/Education Reimbursement - Parking and Transit Benefits for NY, NJ, ATL, and DC Metro areas Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
