Position Summary... What you'll do... Role summary: The Manager, Strategic Initiatives, Consumables will help accelerate growth and improve business performance across Walmart Marketplace Consumables. In this role, you will use data, financial insights, and cross-functional leadership to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and drive execution across business planning and forecasting, seller performance, campaigns and events, pricing and promotional programs, and category initiatives. You will partner closely with Category, Product, Site Merchandising, Finance, Analytics, and other teams to solve complex business challenges, build scalable operating mechanisms, and deliver measurable results for customers, sellers, and the business. About the team: The Marketplace Strategic Initiatives, Consumables team drives growth and enhances business performance across the Consumables Marketplace. Collaborating closely with Category, Product, Merchandising, Finance, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams, the team translates business priorities into scalable strategies and execution. Their responsibilities include business planning, forecasting, seller growth, campaigns, pricing, and category initiatives. Combining analytical rigor, financial insight, and leadership, the team identifies growth opportunities, addresses complex challenges, and builds effective operating mechanisms that deliver measurable results for customers, sellers, and the business. What you'll do: - Develop and execute strategies that accelerate growth and improve performance across Consumables Marketplace. - Lead business planning, forecasting, and performance analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and recommended actions. - Partner with Category, Product, Site Merchandising, Finance, and Analytics to drive seller growth, campaigns, pricing, promotions, and category initiatives. - Build scalable reporting, operating mechanisms, and business narratives that improve visibility, accountability, and decision-making. The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $156,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
