Director of Event Delivery – Infrastructure
DO & CO · On site, Vienna, AT
Опубликовано 3 нояб. 2026 г.
О вакансии
DO & CO is, at its heart, a premium hospitality and experience company. From Formula 1 and major international sporting events to aviation and premium lifestyle, we deliver luxury catering, hospitality, design, production and guest experiences where food is at the centre of everything we do.
The Design & Build division designs, fabricates, constructs and delivers world-class hospitality environments, including Formula 1 Paddock Club facilities, VIP suites, activation spaces and temporary event infrastructure.
Within it, the Infrastructure team is led by two complementary directors:
- Director of Event Delivery (this role): runs live event delivery, day-to-day supplier management and onsite operations.
- Director of New Structures: creates and certifies every new temporary structure.
Because catering sits at the core of our business, both directors manage catering and non-catering topics alike: the kitchens, utilities and back-of-house that let our chefs perform, and the structures, guest spaces and infrastructure around them.
DO & CO is appointing a Director of Event Delivery to lead the live delivery of our hospitality and event environments worldwide, from Formula 1 Paddock Club builds to VIP suites and activations at the world's most prestigious events.
You will run the day-to-day engine of the Infrastructure team across both catering and non-catering topics: planning and scheduling, logistics, installation and dismantle, day-to-day supplier management and onsite problem-solving across multiple simultaneous international events. That means making sure our kitchens are built, connected and ready for our chefs on time, and that every guest space around them opens flawless. When the clock is running and the unexpected happens, you are the leader who keeps the build on track.
You will work alongside the Director of New Structures, who creates and certifies new temporary structures, and take those structures into live operation event after event.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Own the delivery model for all DO & CO F1 live events, building scalable, repeatable processes and protocols.
- Drive operational excellence through post-event reviews, lessons learned and continuous improvement.
- Establish project governance, including reviews, reporting cadence and clear accountabilities.
- Deliver clear, accurate production reporting to senior leadership and clients.
Event Delivery
- Oversee multiple simultaneous international events from technical planning through build, live operation and dismantle.
- Own master installation and dismantle schedules, critical paths and site logistics plans.
- Direct workshop operations, inventory and the preparation, maintenance and refurbishment of structures and equipment between events.
- Set and enforce quality control standards so every space opens finished, safe and on brand.
- Take handover of new structures from the Director of New Structures and integrate them into live event plans.
Catering & Non-Catering Operations
- Deliver catering infrastructure onsite: temporary kitchens, catering equipment, cold storage, potable water, power for kitchens, extraction.
- Work hand in hand with DO & CO's culinary and hospitality operations teams so kitchens are handed over complete, clean and on time for food preparation.
- Ensure catering areas meet food safety and hygiene requirements onsite, including HACCP principles and local environmental health inspections.
- Deliver non-catering infrastructure with the same standard: structures, guest lounges, AV and lighting, furniture, signage, offices and support areas.
- Prioritise catering and non-catering needs on tight build schedules so neither food service nor guest experience is ever compromised.
- Lead onsite fixes for kitchen-critical failures, such as power, refrigeration, water or extraction, with the urgency food service demands.
Formula 1 Delivery
- Lead delivery across the Formula 1 calendar, ensuring a consistent standard from race to race.
- Oversee Paddock Club builds and premium hospitality environments onsite.
- Ensure compliance with FIA, circuit, F1, venue and promoter requirements.
- Manage compressed race-week schedules, access windows and back-to-back event logistics.
- Coordinate international sea and air freight, customs and carnets with logistics partners.
- Build strong relationships with promoters, circuit operations and suppliers.
Day-to-Day Supplier Management
- Manage all event infrastructure suppliers day to day, both catering and non-catering, including power, kitchen equipment and fit-out, refrigeration and cold storage, staging and rigging, power and generators, HVAC, flooring, AV and lighting, furniture, water, and waste.
- Brief, schedule and coordinate suppliers and crews onsite against clear scopes and standards.
- Monitor supplier performance through scorecards and regular reviews, and resolve issues quickly.
- Work with the Director of New Structures on tender requirements and feedback for supplier selection.
Planning & Resources
- Lead event planning, including site surveys, technical plans, schedules and resource plans.
- Plan people, crews, equipment and workshop capacity across a demanding international calendar.
- Manage event budgets, forecasting, change control and margin from estimate to final reconciliation.
- Make sound commercial decisions under time pressure, balancing cost, risk and guest experience.
Onsite Troubleshooting & Crisis Management
- Act as the senior escalation point onsite when weather, freight, access or supplier issues threaten the programme.
- Find fast, practical and safe solutions that protect the opening time and the guest experience.
- Lead contingency planning and crisis response for every event.
- Keep clients, venues and internal teams informed and confident throughout.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure site safety management, risk assessments, permits and inductions are in place and followed.
- Meet local regulations and venue and promoter requirements in every market.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing team of project, production, technical and site managers.
- Integrate freelance team members and supplier teams into one delivery team.
- Plan workload fairly across the season and develop future delivery leaders.

You are a proven live delivery leader who has run complex builds, around the world and against immovable deadlines.
