Accountant/Finance Specialist (only Cyprus)

We are looking for a Financial Specialist/Accountant based in Cyprus, Larnaca (3 days working from the office, 2 days remote). Responsibilities 1. Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting Executing timely, accurately and in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations bookkeeping of all records of the operations of the Company, including keeping records of the client’s funds which the Company keeps on the third party’s accounts. Recording of the transactions from bank/broker statements. - Reconciliations of the balances in the bookkeeping and bank accounts. - Recording transactions with debtors/creditors. - Recording all other transactions of the company (purchase/sales of FI, payroll, FX, valuation of portfolio).- Reporting end of month to the line manager. - Preparation of monthly management accounts for the Management. - Proper filing of all supporting documents from suppliers, monthly reports for the company's records, and annual audit. - Participation in annual audit, assistance in preparation of information/documents based on auditor's requests. 2. Payroll and Taxes - Monthly calculation of payroll including overtime and benefits in kind. - Monthly calculation of the deductions and contributions. - Reconciliation of Payroll in Excel file and Payroll software. - Preparation of the bank Payroll sheet for payment of Salaries. - Preparation of the instructions/forms for payment of SIC and PAYE. - Filing of all supporting documents for annual audit and company's records. 3. Treasury - Filing all expenses/invoices for the approval of their payments into PA system. - Upon approval of the above, preparing payment instructions in the banks according to the bank details of the suppliers (considering faster and cheaper payment ways). - Upon execution of the payments attaching proves of payments into relevant PA tickets. - Updating MS Dynamics Management accounts system on daily basis by entering last day bank/broker statements movements. - Daily reconciliation of the balances in MS Dynamics with bank statements. Requirements -3+ year as Accountant/Financial Specialist. -IFRS accounting standarts. -MS Dynamics software - bookkeeping, management accounts, payroll. -CY tax regulations. -Google Sheets. -Higher education in Accounting or Finance. Nice to Have -Knowledge of CIF activities. -Experience in Cyprus Investment Firm. -Knowledge of the Greek and Ukrainian languages.
