Senior Inside Sales Representative
Location: Skopje, North Macedonia / Pristina, Kosovo (full-time, office-based)
We believe independent restaurants deserve the same advantages as big chains without giving up their independence.
Ilir Sela started Slice in his family’s pizzerias, where he saw firsthand what it takes to run a local shop. Now we’re taking everything we’ve learned beyond pizza, to taquerias, delis, burger joints, and other neighborhood staples.
We put technology, marketing, buying power, and support to work for more than 15,000 restaurants, so owners spend less time on admin, marketing, and order management and more time growing their business. They remain independent, but never alone.
We’re growing our team to help bring this next chapter to life. That’s where you come in.
The Challenge to Solve
Help independent restaurant owners see the full value of Slice, taking on more challenging sales opportunities while helping raise the bar for how we sell across the team.
The Role
As a Senior Inside Sales Representative, you'll own your sales pipeline and consistently deliver strong results, while also taking on some of our more complex and high-value opportunities where your experience can make a real difference.
You'll manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching through to closing and onboarding, bringing strong knowledge of our products and the ability to tailor your approach to each restaurant's needs. Whether you're navigating challenging objections, introducing multiple products or working with owners who need a more consultative approach, you'll know how to build trust and move conversations forward.
You'll also work closely with our US Territory Managers on opportunities that need additional support, and partner with Onboarding, Account Management and Support to make sure new restaurant partners have a smooth experience.
Alongside your own sales targets, you'll be someone other reps can learn from. You'll share what works, help newer colleagues build their confidence and bring ideas to leadership on how we can improve our sales approach. This is a senior individual contributor role, with the opportunity to have an impact beyond your own pipeline.
Key focus areas include:
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying through to closing and onboarding, taking the lead on more complex or high-value opportunities when needed.
- Sell across Slice's full product suite, including Slice Family Membership, Online Ordering, Phone Solution and Goods, tailoring recommendations to each restaurant's needs.
- Build strong relationships with restaurant owners, understanding their challenges and demonstrating how Slice can help them compete and grow.
- Navigate complex sales conversations, including multiple products, challenging objections and opportunities requiring a more consultative approach.
- Partner with US Territory Managers to progress difficult-to-convert opportunities and develop approaches that help move deals forward.
- Work closely with Onboarding, Account Management and Support to ensure smooth handoffs and a positive experience for new restaurant partners.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, setting a strong example through individual performance, pipeline management and CRM accuracy.
- Share sales techniques, product knowledge and objection-handling approaches with newer reps, helping them develop and improve.
- Bring feedback and ideas to Sales leadership on customer needs, recurring objections and opportunities to improve our sales processes and tools.
The Team
You'll report to an Inside Sales Manager and be part of our multinational Inside Sales team, working together to bring Slice's products and services to independent restaurants across the United States.
You'll work on the same core sales opportunities as the wider team, while using your experience to take on more challenging deals when needed. You'll also play an important role in supporting newer colleagues, sharing your knowledge and helping the wider team succeed.
Where and when you'll work
- This is a full-time, office-based role in Skopje or Pristina.
- You'll work US hours, about 4pm to midnight local time, Monday to Friday.
- Because of these hours, other work or study must not clash with your schedule.
What you'll earn
- Competitive OTE + uncapped commission
- Night-hour supplement of [amount].
- Paid training from day one.
The Winning Recipe
- 5+ years of quota-carrying inside sales experience, closing deals by phone (ideally B2B), with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- A track record we can verify. Be ready to share your quota attainment for the last four quarters.
- Fluent spoken English. You'll be on the phone with US restaurant owners every day, and we'll assess this in the interview.
- Strong sales skills, with the confidence to handle challenging objections, build relationships and close deals.
- Experience managing more complex sales opportunities, ideally involving multiple products or a consultative sales approach.
- Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting other sales reps, without necessarily having formal people management responsibilities.
- Strong product knowledge and the ability to understand and communicate the value of different solutions to customers.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to lead complex conversations and influence different stakeholders.
- Strong pipeline management and CRM discipline, with accurate forecasting and follow-up.
- Comfortable working independently, taking ownership of challenging opportunities and finding creative ways to move deals forward.
- A proactive, goal-oriented mindset, with the resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Coachable and open to feedback, with a genuine interest in continuing to develop your own skills while helping others improve.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling to small businesses or within the restaurant technology industry.
- Experience working with field sales or territory management teams.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM.
- Spanish language skills.
Our interview process
- Four stages: a recruiter screen, a hiring manager interview, a skills assessment (a live pitch and a short coaching exercise) and a final interview with sales leadership.
- We aim to move quickly and keep you updated at every stage.
