Our team of experts raise the bar. www.stuarthose.com Summary: A Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing an array of functions that include picking and filling orders, measuring and cutting a variety of hoses, and managing/organizing stock in the warehouse. Essential Functions: - Operate assembly equipment with proper training - Prepare orders by processing pick tickets; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area - Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards - Maintains inventory by collecting stock location orders, recording amounts of materials picked and noting discrepancies. - Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and work stations neat; sweep and organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times - Operate materials handling equipment with proper training - Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas - Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damages to supervisors - Provide assistance or direction to other warehouse employees Experience, Education and Skills: - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred - Hose and Fittings product knowledge is preferred, but not required - Basic mathematical skills required. - Ability to read a tape measure preferred - Good communication, organizational, and time management skills - Ability to adapt to and work in a variety of situations to support the company’s goals - Must be comfortable lifting heavy items and using warehouse machinery We offer: - Medical/ Dental/ Vision/ 401k - Paid Vacation and Holidays - Tuition reimbursement and ongoing development opportunities - A supportive, team-focused environment - Stability in a well-established company Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
