We are excited to offer an internship opportunity for a С++ Developer (Intern) to join our Amsterdam-based team.
As part of our Software Development group, you will work closely with experienced software engineers, gaining hands-on experience in solving the challenges related to multi-threaded and distributed computing, working closely with hardware, and trying to squeeze maximum throughput from our computational cluster, while our infrastructure is written in modern C++. This internship may also offer an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects at the intersection of low-latency trading and system optimization.
The internship duration can range from 3 to 6 months, depending on the team and the intern’s availability. Upon successful completion, you may be offered a full-time position at Pinely.
Requirements
- Strong C++ programming skills;
- Experience with multithreading and distributed computing;
- Experience with low-latency and high-performance code optimization;
- Understanding of data structures and their impact on system performance;
- Ability to analyze and optimize code for instruction-level latency;
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Would be a plus:
- Understanding of database systems and their optimization;
- Knowledge of FPGA development or hardware-level optimizations;
- Familiarity with assembly language and low-level system interactions;
- Proficiency in reverse engineering techniques;
- Experience with financial trading systems or algorithmic trading.
