Position Overview Leidos is seeking energetic, motivated, self-starters for these technically sophisticated and challenging cybersecurity engineering positions. Cybersecurity Co-ops may develop complex, defensive cybersecurity solutions for trainer systems and their development environments, and assess and upgrade Linux servers and workstations. All work is performed and executed in a Linux OS environment. All work is directly applicable to actual military training systems. Co-op students will gain invaluable, real-world experience on state-of-the-art computer-based systems. This co-op rotation will start in January 2027 and conclude in August 2027. Subsequent co-op rotations are available for those who require multiple co-op experiences. Basic Qualifications: • You will be participating in the development of large scale computer based training systems and you MUST be able to learn and apply advanced cybersecurity engineering skills and techniques. • You MUST be able to work in a fast paced, team oriented enviroment. • You MUST be available to work at least 7 months full time as a co-op. Education: You MUST be Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical degree, have at least a 3.2 GPA, and be able to demonstrate solid Linux system and defensive cybersecurity skills. Citizenship: You MUST have U.S. Citizenship and be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government granted security clearance. Employment is contingent on receiving an interim Secret security clearance. Experience: No past experience is required, however you will be working in a professional environment and contributing to systems that will be used throughout the U.S. Navy.
