Vendor Relations Manager

Position Purpose: Manages strategic relationships with third-party delegated partners, with accountability for operational performance, service-level compliance, financial oversight, and effective execution of delegated services. Serves as the primary liaison between delegated partners and internal stakeholders, proactively identifying risks, resolving performance issues, and implementing business solutions that support organizational objectives. Represents the organization throughout the partner lifecycle, from implementation and launch through ongoing operational governance. Key Details: This position is remote within the United states with up to 10% travel required. - Provide direct account and relationship management for assigned delegated partners, including governance meetings, agenda development, issue tracking, decision documentation, and follow-up of action items. - Lead SLA and performance management, including review and distribution of performance dashboards, identification of performance gaps and trends, establishment of corrective actions, and ongoing monitoring of contractual service standards. - Maintain regular communication with delegated partners and serve as a central point of coordination between external partners and internal business stakeholders. - Provide oversight and direction for complex initiatives, implementations, operational changes, and strategic projects involving delegated partners, ensuring appropriate alignment, accountability, and execution. - Provide financial oversight of delegated services, including validation of payment accuracy and timeliness, identification and resolution of discrepancies, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders on reconciliation activities. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field or equivalent experience. Five plus years of experience supporting working with Primary Care Providers, Account Management experience working in Healthcare or related field, able to present to executive-level teams at the delegated entities Pay Range: $87,700.00 - $157,800.00 per year At Centene, we connect people to the care they need to live healthier lives — and the work you do here makes that impact real every day.
