Production Engineer

ALUMIL is seeking a Production Engineer for its subsidiary BMP, located in the Industrial Area (B.I.PE.) of Serres. About BMP BMP was founded in 1954 in Legnano, Italy, and is ISO 9001 certified. The company specializes in the production of thermoplastic gaskets and sealing solutions. In Greece, BMP operates two production facilities (in Serres and Kilkis) with a combined production capacity of more than 30 tons per day. Through this investment, BMP Greece has completed a significant growth cycle and now offers a comprehensive product portfolio. About the Role As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving production processes. You will analyze manufacturing workflows, contribute to capacity planning, and collaborate with teams to enhance productivity and reduce downtime. Key Responsibilities - Monitor and optimize production processes for efficiency and quality improvement. - Develop and maintain production schedules in coordination with the planning team. - Analyze and troubleshoot manufacturing issues to minimize downtime. - Implement process improvements and automation solutions. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. - Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and R&D teams on continuous improvement initiatives. - Provide technical support and training to production staff. - Prepare reports on production metrics and present findings to management.
