Accounts Payable Specialist

Tempus is looking for a hardworking, ambitious Accounts Payable Specialist to support its growing operations in Chicago. Reporting to the AP Manager, this role will oversee the accounts payable process. What you'll do: - Sort, code and match invoices - Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records - Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues - Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries - Assist with month-end closing (Duplicate invoices, overbilled PO's, verifying service periods for a subsection of vendor types, etc.) - Provide supporting documentation for audits (when needed) - Track Credits and resolve any associated issues Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree and at least 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a rapidly-growing company - Highly analytical and detail-oriented - Results-oriented, highly energetic, dynamic individual with hands-on mentality #LI-DA1 CHI: $50,000-$72,000 The expected salary range may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
